As Director of the Psychiatric Hospital Skopje–Skopje, together with dozens of doctors from our institution, I had the pleasure of participating in the International Conference on Forensic Psychiatry, co-organized with the support of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA), which was held in Ohrid.

This conference brought together experts, professors, and speakers from various countries around the world, providing an important opportunity to exchange experiences, scientific knowledge, and contemporary practices in the field of forensic psychiatry.

A particular source of pride was the participation of our distinguished professors, Prof. Dr. Dimitar Bonevski and Prof. Dr. Liljana Ignjatova, as speakers at the conference. Both contributed their valuable expertise and professional experience to this international event.

The participation of our colleagues in such events reflects our staff's commitment to professional development, the advancement of knowledge, and the continuous improvement of standards in psychiatric care.

As an institution, we will continue to support continuous education, professional collaboration, and the international exchange of experiences, with the aim of transforming new knowledge into higher-quality care, better treatment, and greater respect for the dignity of every patient.
